Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Davide Marinacci kicked off to start the match. Biagio Guidoni came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Borgo Montello's Claudio Picciano. But to his dismay, Claudio Picciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, Rescalda AFC's Ennio Martano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Achille Guaita. Achille Guaita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 2-1 became the score in the 11th minute when Carlo Di Tommaso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Achille Guaita made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Carlo Di Tommaso sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Marinacci in the 18th minute of play forced Rescalda AFC's goalkeeper Biagio Guidoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes Rescalda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Bucci. Biagio Guidoni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Davide Marinacci went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. When Davide Marinacci came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Borgo Montello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davide Marinacci couldn't finish the play. Davide Marinacci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 32 minutes, Davide Marinacci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borgo Montello's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Marinacci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Claudio Picciano made a precise shot to the right of Biagio Guidoni. Rescalda AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlo Di Tommaso got free with Achille Guaita in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rescalda AFC's goalkeeper Biagio Guidoni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Borgo Montello were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ennio Martano was the one to do the kick off. Fabio Bucci hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Claudio Picciano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Biagio Guidoni made a huge save. Rescalda AFC's Biagio Guidoni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Rescalda AFC from getting a goal against them. Carlo Di Tommaso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Achille Guaita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Davide Marinacci fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The long shot by Cesare Pocobello in the 80th minute really tested Biagio Guidoni's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Davide Marinacci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes Rescalda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Bucci. 91 minutes into the match, Borgo Montello's Davide Marinacci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Biagio Guidoni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Davide Marinacci reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Biagio Guidoni. The goal made the score 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Borgo Montello had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
