After a defensive mix-up in Msr team's zone, Felice Del Gatto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Giusto came out of the goal and Felice Del Gatto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Davide Rocchi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fortunato Di Giacomo went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 26thth minute of the game Frank Polmone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lemignano's Davide Rocchi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Msr team's Fortunato Di Giacomo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. If Achille Giusti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Emilio Ferri fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lemignano's protests and gave Emilio Ferri a yellow card for diving instead. Emilio Ferri hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Fortunato Di Giacomo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Rocchi having to interfere. After 42 minutes of play Lemignano's Emilio Ferri was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Lemignano getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Emilio Ferri hit a great ball. Achille Rucci was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Polmone was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Msr team's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Del Gatto came free, but Flavio Giusto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filippo Musso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Msr team defense, Felice Del Gatto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Giusto. The Msr team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Giusto should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Polmone in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davide Rocchi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Polmone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Lemignano's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Polmone came free, but Davide Rocchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lemignano's Davide Rocchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Polmone in the 87th minute of play. Felice Del Gatto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Flavio Giusto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Frank Polmone made a precise shot to the right of Davide Rocchi. Lemignano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.
