After 28 minutes A.C. Monvalle's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valério Boaventura who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Valério Boaventura got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edmondo Romino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 31st minute, Bernardo Parente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carter Azzolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, A.C. Monvalle's Fortunato Tarquini got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Valério Boaventura sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Edmondo Romino threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Valério Boaventura this time. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Biagio Vasco struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Frank Chiola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C. Monvalle. With a little luck, Montelanico's Frank Chiola got control of the ball when Alfonso Chitarroni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfonso Chitarroni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Chiola having to interfere. Fabiano Ferrario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Edmondo Romino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Bernardo Parente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmondo Romino was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 81 played minutes Montelanico got a freekick which was hit by Carter Azzolina. Biagio Vasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Frank Chiola made a huge save. Fabiano Ferrario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the game, Fabiano Ferrario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Edmondo Romino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
