Alvaro Tardelli succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 8th playminute. Riccione AFC's Dave Berardo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 12th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dave Berardo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ettore Cirulli came out and tried to block the shot, but Dave Berardo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Riccione AFC's Alex Bartolucci got a free kick in the 19th minute. Aldo Zarrella kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Arturo Caruso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Marrone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute of the match, Dave Berardo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ettore Cirulli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roncadella FC's goalkeeper Ettore Cirulli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dave Berardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ettore Cirulli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Caruso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Torelli in the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Alvaro Tardelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riccione AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Tardelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvaro Tardelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ettore Cirulli made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Dave Berardo took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Ettore Cirulli to make any attempt to save it. Dave Berardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ettore Cirulli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anselmo Torelli to strike the kick off in the second half. Ettore Cirulli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riccione AFC. Roncadella FC's Ettore Cirulli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Berardo in the 57th minute of play. With a little luck, Riccione AFC's Arturo Caruso got control of the ball when Aurelio Di Campli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurelio Di Campli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Caruso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Torelli in the 63rd minute of play. Aurelio Di Campli was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 72 minutes, Alvaro Marrone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roncadella FC and the Riccione AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Roncadella FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alvaro Marrone hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Dave Berardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ettore Cirulli. Roncadella FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dave Berardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0.
