Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Concetto Liberti started the match with the kick off. Ernesto Silvestre was a little too slow when Concetto Liberti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ennio Guidone got free with Ernesto Silvestre in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ennio Guidone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Puminha FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Concetto Liberti scored to the left of an out of position Ernesto Silvestre, making the score, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Concetto Liberti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto Silvestre was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Puminha FC's Augusto Talamo got a free kick in the 27th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Lova's Enrico Scafati broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Concetto Liberti in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Silvestre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ennio Guidone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ernesto Silvestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Andreozzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Lova's Edmondo Rinaldi got a free kick in the 40th minute. Ennio Guidone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Ernesto Silvestre made a huge save. Lova's Concetto Liberti got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cesare Pallotta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Andreozzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lova's Concetto Liberti got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Lova booed when Puminha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Renzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Puminha FC's Ernesto Silvestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Guidone in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Concetto Liberti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Silvestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Puminha FC defense, Edmondo Rinaldi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Silvestre. The Puminha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Silvestre should have stopped the shot. Concetto Liberti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Alberto Andreozzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute Ennio Guidone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Silvestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ennio Guidone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ernesto Silvestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Puminha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Liberti came free, but Ernesto Silvestre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Ennio Guidone made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Silvestre. Puminha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Lova's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
