The supporters of vinciprovese calcio booed when Bagnile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Di Pietro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes Bagnile got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Boldrini. Dino Oberrauch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With a little luck, Bagnile's Frank Foni got control of the ball when Alvaro Tammaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Montagna in the 90th minute of play forced Bagnile's goalkeeper Frank Foni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fortunato Lombardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Boldrini in the 95th minute of the match. vinciprovese calcio were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
