In the last second Antonello Damiani throw himself and got hold of the ball when Domenico Ursini in the 4thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After having played for 6 minutes, Domenico Ursini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bargagli FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domenico Ursini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bargagli FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlo Melchiorre in the 12th minute. After taking down the ball on Bargagli FC's corner Carlo Melchiorre fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Antonello Damiani quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Egidi in the 15th minute of play forced Bargagli FC's goalkeeper Aldo Salvagnin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Giovanico booed when Bargagli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciccio Bertini didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Giovanico's goalkeeper Antonello Damiani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carter Brillante. Ermanno Di Cicco kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bargagli FC's Carter Brillante got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Carlo Melchiorre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Di Mattia succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to get real power on a long shot . Bargagli FC's Aldo Salvagnin hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-1! Aldo Salvagnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessio Moretti in the 36th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Giovanico got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Padula. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Giovanico's goalkeeper Antonello Damiani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Giovanico's zone, Domenico Ursini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonello Damiani came out of the goal and Domenico Ursini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Carter Brillante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Giovanico's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Ursini came free, but Antonello Damiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giovanico's Ermanno Di Cicco got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered Ermanno Di Cicco off the ground. Ermanno Di Cicco hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Carter Brillante got in the 48th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Antonello Damiani handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After the first half Giovanico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dino Egidi made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Giovanico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlo Melchiorre was slow to take the kick. During this time Bargagli FC's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Bargagli FC's Diego Ursini got a free kick in the 59th minute. Antonello Damiani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico Ursini in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Bargagli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenico Ursini to maneuver through the defense. Giovanico's Antonello Damiani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carter Brillante in the 79th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Domenico Ursini notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Giovanico's Antonello Damiani. Antonello Damiani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bargagli FC's Diego Ursini suffered a sore knee after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Amerigo Egidi's late challenge caught a Bargagli FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amerigo Egidi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Giovanico's Amerigo Egidi got a free kick in the 91st minute. Giovanico's Antonello Damiani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carter Brillante in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Bargagli FC's goalkeeper Aldo Salvagnin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dino Egidi. Giovanico's Dino Egidi got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bargagli FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
