Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Benvenuto started the match with the kick off. Anselmo Cesaroni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Benvenuto in the 9th minute of the match. Porciletto AFC's Fabrizio Di Cintio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Salerno in the 13th minute of play. Frank Benvenuto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Cesaroni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Benvenuto, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Fabrizio Di Cintio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ermanno Zangari went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to San Michele getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ermanno Zangari hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Benvenuto in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Cesaroni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Salerno in the 26th minute of play forced Porciletto AFC's goalkeeper Fabrizio Di Cintio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Porciletto AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Visintin to maneuver through the defense. Alvise Guerrini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabrizio Di Cintio. Porciletto AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in San Michele's zone, Diego Liberti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Cesaroni came out of the goal and Diego Liberti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fedele Salerno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Fabrizio Di Cintio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Ermanno Zangari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Michele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermanno Zangari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Diego Liberti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porciletto AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Liberti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Benvenuto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Anselmo Cesaroni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fedele Salerno to make the kick off. A collision led to San Michele getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alex Ricciuti hit a great ball. Anselmo Cesaroni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Liberti went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. San Michele's Anselmo Cesaroni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Benvenuto in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Porciletto AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Zangari came free, but Fabrizio Di Cintio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrizio Di Cintio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Casale in the 66th minute of play. Anselmo Cesaroni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Liberti in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Ermanno Zangari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Fabrizio Di Cintio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emiliano Caracciolo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Di Cintio having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Diego Liberti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Cesaroni. San Michele's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Liberti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When Frank Benvenuto came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Porciletto AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Benvenuto couldn't finish the play. A collision led to San Michele getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alex Riccardi hit a great ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Frank Benvenuto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porciletto AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Benvenuto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Frank Benvenuto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
