Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fortunato Goffredo got the match started through his kick off. Francesco Finocchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Pace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Carmine Pace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fortunato Goffredo fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borgo Ticino AFC's protests and gave Fortunato Goffredo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Borgo Ticino AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Fortunato Goffredo hit a great ball. Carmine Pace fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Finocchi having to interfere. Grisignano's Andrea Boccanera got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carmine Pace hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Fortunato Goffredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Donati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Goffredo in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmine Pace in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francesco Finocchi saved Borgo Ticino AFC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrea Boccanera got free with Francesco Finocchi in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmine Pace in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francesco Finocchi saved Borgo Ticino AFC from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Grisignano's goal looked a bit too open when Fortunato Goffredo came free, but Bernardo Donati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute Carmine Pace shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Finocchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmine Pace was the one to do the kick off. When Borgo Ticino AFC's Frank Combi in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grisignano's goalie prevented a goal. In the 53rd match minute, Grisignano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Polmone to maneuver through the defense. Fortunato Goffredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fortunato Goffredo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Bernardo Donati didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borgo Ticino AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmine Pace in the 61st minute of play forced Borgo Ticino AFC's goalkeeper Francesco Finocchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beppe Di Girolamo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Grisignano's Biagio De Feo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Borgo Ticino AFC. Carmine Pace recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francesco Finocchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Pace, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Francesco Finocchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Boccanera in the 86th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Borgo Ticino AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Boccanera came free, but Francesco Finocchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes, Beppe Bergomi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borgo Ticino AFC and the Grisignano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Borgo Ticino AFC got a freekick which was hit by Beppe Bergomi. Francesco Finocchi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmine Pace went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Grisignano fans cheered their team off the field, for while Borgo Ticino AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
