Anfilogino De Vecchis charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anfilogino De Vecchis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Anfilogino De Vecchis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amerigo Bucci in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Costantino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuele Marchegiani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donato Costantino having to make a save. In the 8th minute Arturo Iezzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Serantoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesare Monti made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 10thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Eugenio Serantoni would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 15 minutes into the match, Palazzolo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Bucci came free, but Donato Costantino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Palazzolo FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Anfilogino De Vecchis hit a great ball. Fincantieri's Eugenio Serantoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Verdone in the 20th minute of play. Cesare Monti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Eugenio Serantoni when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edmondo Verdone was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Palazzolo FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 24th match minute, Fincantieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Marinacci to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match Andrea Donadoni sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugenio Serantoni skillfully saved the ball. Eugenio Serantoni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesare Monti in the 26th minute. The supporters of Palazzolo FC booed when Fincantieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Marinacci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesare Monti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Serantoni having to interfere. With his leg Eugenio Serantoni managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Palazzolo FC's Cesare Monti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmondo Verdone in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Serantoni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Emanuele Marchegiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Amerigo Bucci made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Fincantieri's zone, Cesare Monti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Serantoni came out of the goal and Cesare Monti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amerigo Bucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Donato Costantino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Serantoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Monti in the 74th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Fincantieri's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Monti came free, but Eugenio Serantoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmondo Verdone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Eugenio Serantoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fincantieri's Davide Di Maria got a free kick in the 81st minute. Emanuele Marchegiani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Donato Costantino made a huge save. 90 minutes into the game, Concetto Berardinelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fincantieri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palazzolo FC the free kick. In the 91st match minute, Fincantieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Concetto Berardinelli to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Iezzi did an outstanding performance 93 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-1 to the right of an irritated Eugenio Serantoni in the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fincantieri players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Palazzolo FC.
