Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dennis Palombi kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Dennis Palombi managed to get in a good position for a shot. giglio AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Palombi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Carozza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dino Lauria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Antonio Carozza made a huge save. After 11 minutes of play, Borghetti's Amedeo Arcangeli made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Santagata was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fausto Santagata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Arcangeli in the 14th minute of the match. Dino Laurias short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Antonio Carozza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 18 played minutes Borghetti got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Pietrangelo. Borghetti's Antonio Carozza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Palombi in the 20th minute of play. giglio AFC's Fausto Santagata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beppe Novella in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Arcangeli in the 23rd minute of play forced giglio AFC's goalkeeper Fausto Santagata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Dennis Palombi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antonio Carozza, 1-1. A collision led to giglio AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Eugenio Di Mattia hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Borghetti's Beppe Novella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Santagata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Beppe Novella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Santagata having to interfere. Eugenio Di Mattia hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Fausto Santagata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beppe Novella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dino Lauria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Carozza having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amedeo Arcangeli made a kick off. The supporters of Borghetti booed when giglio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Di Mattia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beppe Novella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th match minute, Borghetti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Florio to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Carozza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dino Lauria's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Dino Lauria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Palombi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Carozza having to make a save. After 75 played minutes, giglio AFC's Ciccio Marchesani shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Antonio Carozza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in giglio AFC reached it. Dennis Palombi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Antonio Carozza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Beppe Novella came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Borghetti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beppe Novella couldn't finish the play. Dennis Palombi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Rainaldi's late challenge caught a giglio AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Rainaldi helped the player get up and apologised. Dino Lauria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute Amedeo Arcangeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Santagata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dino Lauria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Carozza having to interfere.
