Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Posatora's Felice Campo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilio Proietti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felice Campo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Emilio Proietti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dave De Gregorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dario Marulli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Borgo Sabotino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Campo came free, but Emilio Proietti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fedele Baldassarre charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fedele Baldassarre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Posatora booed when Borgo Sabotino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Baldassarre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 minutes of play, Borgo Sabotino FC's Antonio Ansoldi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dario Marulli was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute, Felice Campo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Borgo Sabotino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Danza came free, but Emilio Proietti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Florian Danza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Posatora's supporters rose to their feet, but Florian Danza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Proietti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Ansoldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Marulli having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Posatora's zone, Dave De Gregorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Marulli came out of the goal and Dave De Gregorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dave De Gregorio came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Borgo Sabotino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dave De Gregorio couldn't finish the play. Florian Danza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Emilio Proietti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Proietti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Campo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Epifani struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Emilio Proietti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Posatora. Edmondo Angelini hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Posatora were awarded a corner. Frank Mariotti went to the cornerflag to take it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florian Danza to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Antonio Ansoldi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Marulli was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Felice Campo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Florian Danza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Posatora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Danza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felice Campo might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Proietti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felice Campo ran back to his position shaking his head. When Felice Campo came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Posatora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felice Campo couldn't finish the play. Florian Danza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Proietti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Felice Campo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Emilio Proietti made a huge save. 79 minutes into the game, Florian Pagliuca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borgo Sabotino FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Posatora the free kick. Antonio Ansoldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dario Marulli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Danza might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Proietti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florian Danza ran back to his position shaking his head. Posatora were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
