A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Malpaga AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Tabacco came free, but Enzo Mingione reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermanno Natale who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Enzo Mingione when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Alberigo Mastrangelo came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Malpaga AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberigo Mastrangelo couldn't finish the play. Affori FC's Beppe Bianco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Forlano in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Affori FC's zone, Armin Moretta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beppe Bianco came out of the goal and Armin Moretta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beppe Bianco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armin Moretta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Moretta in the 45th minute of play forced Affori FC's goalkeeper Beppe Bianco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ermanno Natale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Affori FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermanno Natale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Mingione breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beppe Bianco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Mastrangelo in the 62nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Attilio Forlano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Despite being the better team, Affori FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
