After 16 played minutes, Magrano's Fabiano Del Grosso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anthony De Francesco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Magrano reached it. 22 minutes into the match, Pontevigodarzere's goalkeeper Anthony De Francesco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferruccio Bucci. In the 23rd minute, Ferruccio Alessandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pontevigodarzere's Anthony De Francesco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Pontevigodarzere from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Pontevigodarzere's Comunardo Rosa got a free kick in the 25th minute. Anthony De Francesco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Fabiani, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Magrano's zone, Christian Coscarella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Signoretti came out of the goal and Christian Coscarella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Concetto Fabiani came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Magrano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Concetto Fabiani couldn't finish the play. Comunardo Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Comunardo Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Magrano booed when Pontevigodarzere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Comunardo Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Concetto Fabiani came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Magrano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Concetto Fabiani couldn't finish the play. Anthony De Francesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Magrano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
