Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edoardo Nardi got the match started through his kick off. Dino Navarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank De Fina having to interfere. Franco Santucci lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 11th minute, one of Nerviano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nerviano. In the 18th minute, Nerviano's Dino Navarra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Dino Navarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Francesco Palone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edoardo Nardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Franco Balzani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Andrea Zuccarini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franco Balzani. Nerviano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrea Zuccarini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Andrea Zuccarini hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Frank De Fina came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nerviano's Dino Navarra. But to his dismay, Dino Navarra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. S.S.C NAPOLI's Edoardo Nardi got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.S.C NAPOLI's goalkeeper Frank De Fina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edoardo Nardi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franco Balzani having to make a save. When Ciro Quercia fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nerviano's protests and gave Ciro Quercia a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes Nerviano got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Quercia. Franco Balzani was a little too slow when Edoardo Nardi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 2-3. Dino Navarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andrea Zuccarini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Franco Balzani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, S.S.C NAPOLI's Edoardo Nardi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Franco Balzani. Franco Balzani yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. S.S.C NAPOLI played a much better game than Nerviano and deserved their victory. The Nerviano players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
