Aurelio Caniglia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elia Federicis short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Aurelio Caniglia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 47th minute, when Pieve Vecchia AFC's Bianco Nobili after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Aurelio Caniglia in Cordan's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Cordan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Prisco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a left leg Aurelio Caniglia saved Cordan from getting behind. In the 74th minute Elia Federici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Caniglia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Elia Federici cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1.
