Borzoli's Anfilogino Spadoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Coco in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Donato Coco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Piacente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ferdinando Muto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Donato Ferraresi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Ferraresi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ciccio Sartori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. Donato Ferraresi got in the 23rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Anfilogino Spadoni handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Anfilogino Spadoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Ferraresi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Taddeo got free with Ferdinando Muto in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferdinando Muto made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Eugenio Taddeo sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 47 minutes, Fabiano Piacente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
