Eugenio Taddeo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Dennis Di Donato when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fabiano Piacente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 7 minutes, Christian Ballerini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borgo Podgora FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Ballerini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Borzoli's Alexander Scrima got a free kick in the 12th minute. Fabiano Piacente struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Dennis Di Donato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borzoli. 19 minutes into the game, Fabiano Piacente recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dennis Di Donato. Fabiano Piacente showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Eugenio Taddeo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borzoli's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Taddeo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Di Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabiano Piacente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Di Donato went to the wrong direction when Attilio Finocchi was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Adriano De Lucia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Adriano De Lucia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Felice Porro fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borzoli's protests and gave Felice Porro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, Borzoli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felice Porro to maneuver through the defense. Anfilogino Spadoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Ballerini in the 47th minute of the match. Anfilogino Spadoni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano De Lucia's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabiano Piacente made a kick off. Christian Ballerini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Anfilogino Spadoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Borgo Podgora FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ciro Cipriani hit a great ball. Fabiano Piacente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anfilogino Spadoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano De Lucia in the 60th minute of play. Emanuele Festa hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Borgo Podgora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Taddeo came free, but Dennis Di Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Borzoli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Scrima to maneuver through the defense. Anfilogino Spadoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano De Lucia, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Fabiano Piacente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borzoli's Fabiano Piacente got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dennis Di Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play, Borzoli's Eugenio Taddeo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dennis Di Donato was left in no man's land by his defense there! Florian Marzoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Ballerini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfilogino Spadoni having to interfere. Anfilogino Spadoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano De Lucia in the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Christian Ballerini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ettore Capobianco charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ettore Capobianco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute, Ettore Capobianco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dennis Di Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Piacente, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Borzoli's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Adriano De Lucia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 97 minutes, Eugenio Taddeo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borzoli and the Borgo Podgora FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 97 played minutes Borzoli got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Taddeo. Borzoli's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
