After some careless play in the Sesto Fiorentino defense, Attilio Pascucci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Cosi. The Sesto Fiorentino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Cosi should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Attilio Pascucci was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Sesto Fiorentino got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Fracassi. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Alexander Di Renzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Voghenza's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Di Renzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Cosi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Voghenza getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Achille Di Toro hit a great ball. Beppe Di Tommaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corrado Bontempi in the 59th minute of play. Alexander Di Renzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexander Di Renzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Donato Cosi made a huge save. Sesto Fiorentino's Corrado Bontempi got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sesto Fiorentino's Antonio Colombo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Corrado Bontempi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sesto Fiorentino had played much better football throughout.
