Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Montisola's Federico Franceschi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Antonio Colombo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Cesaroni was relentless in the 2nd minute of the game. Federico Franceschi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anfilogino Rosato tried in the 11th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Alberto Cesaroni a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Corrado Bontempi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Cesaroni having to interfere. Ferruccio Minicucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Donato Cosi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Colombo in the 22nd minute of play forced Montisola's goalkeeper Alberto Cesaroni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Colombo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alberto Cesaroni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corrado Bontempi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Alberto Cesaroni made a huge save. A collision led to Montisola getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Alfredo Colantonio hit a great ball. Antonio Colombo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Cesaroni having to interfere. Corrado Bontempi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alberto Cesaroni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Franceschi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Colombo to strike the kick off in the second half. Donato Cosi made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Ferruccio Minicucci sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Franceschi in the 57th minute of play forced Sesto Fiorentino's goalkeeper Donato Cosi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sesto Fiorentino's Donato Cosi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Sesto Fiorentino from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the game, Ferruccio Minicucci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Donato Cosi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alberto Cesaroni came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Sesto Fiorentino's Antonio Colombo. But to his dismay, Antonio Colombo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Donato Cosi made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Ferruccio Minicucci sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Ferruccio Minicucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Corrado Bontempi notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Montisola's Alberto Cesaroni. Alberto Cesaroni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Donato Cosi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Franceschi, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sesto Fiorentino fans cheered their team off the field, for while Montisola had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
