Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eraldo Di Cristofaro started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Eraldo Di Cristofaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Simeoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Antonello Ciapponi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frattocchie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piacenza Calcio 1919 the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Frattocchie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonello Ciapponi to maneuver through the defense. Eraldo Di Cristofaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Donato Moschetta notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Frattocchie's Concetto Simeoni. Concetto Simeoni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Antonello Ciapponi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th play minute Concetto Cavallucci came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arrigo Vierchowod. 1-1. If Concetto Cavallucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Moschetta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Concetto Simeoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frattocchie's Concetto Simeoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eraldo Di Cristofaro in the 25th minute of play. Arrigo Vierchowod took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Cavallucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Piacenza Calcio 1919 booed when Frattocchie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Pietrangelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Donato Mattioli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Concetto Simeoni skillfully saved the ball. Donato Mattioli kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Ermanno Giolo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arrigo Vierchowod showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Pietrangelo in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arrigo Vierchowod saved Piacenza Calcio 1919 from getting behind. Concetto Cavalluccis short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Arrigo Vierchowod to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eraldo Di Cristofaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Simeoni having to interfere. In the 47th minute Christian Cavallucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Vierchowod saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Cavallucci made a kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Domenico Corvi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piacenza Calcio 1919's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frattocchie the free kick. Domenico Corvi kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Frattocchie's goalkeeper Concetto Simeoni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato Moschetta. Christian Cavallucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arrigo Vierchowod showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Cavallucci in the 82nd minute of the match. Davide Di Cola kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Cosimo Picciano fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 91st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. If Domenico Corvi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
