In the 3rd minute, Carlo Pettinelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Meano getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Attilio Scatena hit a great ball. Attilio Scatena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Pompilio got free with Elia Cilli in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Attilio Scatena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciccio Scibilia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elia Cilli having to make a save. 28 minutes into the match, Meano's goal looked a bit too open when Comunardo Orrore came free, but Alessio Di Filippo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Fabio Caneva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cassina Nuova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Cassina Nuova getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Comunardo Orrore hit a great ball. Elia Cilli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Scatena, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Alvaro Pompilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Elia Cilli made a huge save. Elia Cilli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciccio Scibilia's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Alessio Di Filippo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Caneva in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciccio Scibilia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alessio Di Filippo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Caneva went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Elia Cilli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Pompilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Alessio Di Filippo made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Comunardo Orrore sent off a good shot on target. Alvaro Pompilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 64 minutes into the match, Meano's goalkeeper Alessio Di Filippo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Caneva. Alvaro Pompilio scored 1-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elia Cilli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvaro Pompilio struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Elia Cilli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meano. Alessio Di Filippo made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Fabio Caneva sent off a good shot on target. Cassina Nuova's Fabio Caneva came free and shot a quick shot against goal 84 minutes in the game, fortunately Alessio Di Filippo had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Meano's Alessio Di Filippo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Meano from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Alvaro Pompilio put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Elia Cilli. The Meano fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Meano's Alvaro Pompilio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Cassina Nuova's Comunardo Orrore got a free kick in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Meano were the better team. Meano's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
