Emilio Di Tommaso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12thth minute of the game Ercole Ciapponi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nuceria's Emilio Di Tommaso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciccio Clemente struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Emilio Di Tommaso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delorean. Ciccio Clemente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Emilio Di Tommaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edoardo Dossena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Federico Fabrizio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. Emiliano Colantoni scored 1-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Di Tommaso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damiano Coccia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Adriano Urbani came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Delorean fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Urbani couldn't finish the play. Carmine Furino kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Ciccio Clemente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Delorean's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciccio Clemente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Delorean's Edoardo Dossena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Coccia in the 51st minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Anselmo Albani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nuceria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Albani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciccio Clemente succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 59th playminute. Delorean's Ciccio Clemente got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edoardo Dossena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Albani in the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Adriano Urbani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ercole Ciapponi in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Di Tommaso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adriano Urbani might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Di Tommaso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 89th minute, Adriano Urbani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Delorean fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6.
