Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Camogli's zone, Bruno Giacomozzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide Ragazzoni came out of the goal and Bruno Giacomozzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 4 minutes into the game, Alfonso Prosperi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Davide Ragazzoni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Prosperi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davide Ragazzoni was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, Camogli's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Prosperi came free, but Davide Ragazzoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Giacomozzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Ragazzoni having to interfere. Frank Pili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beppe De Vito in the 19th minute of the match. Cosimo Santalucia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Frank Pili made a huge save. Bruno Giacomozzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Davide Ragazzoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davide Ragazzoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Prosperi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Giacomozzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davide Ragazzoni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. If Alfonso Prosperi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in A.S. Cosimo Santalucia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Frank Pili made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Giacomozzi to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Fausto Di Febo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Frank Pili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th minute Bruno Giacomozzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Ragazzoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davide Ragazzoni was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Bruno Giacomozzi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bruno Giacomozzi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 63 minutes into the game, Anthony Di Berardino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.S. Pace Del Mela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Camogli the free kick. After a rather tough play, A.S. Frank Pili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe De Vito, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Cosimo Santalucia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Pili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Carbonaro kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Giacomozzi in the 75th minute of play forced Camogli's goalkeeper Davide Ragazzoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pace Del Mela's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
