Adriano Scudieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Cipollini, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Drittopedritto's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Marcon came free, but Bianco Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Arpaia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corrado Marcon struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Bianco Taurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Narnali FC. The Narnali FC fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Narnali FC's Corrado Marcon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 29th minute, Ciro Monticelli fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Adriano Scudieri had great luck who in the 31stth minute grab hold of the ball when Frank Cipollini from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Corrado Marcon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camillo Moschetta hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Adriano Scudieri didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Corrado Marcon was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Drittopedritto's goalkeeper Bianco Taurino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ciro Monticelli fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drittopedritto's protests and gave Ciro Monticelli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Drittopedritto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Monticelli to maneuver through the defense. Dario Arpaia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bianco Taurino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Drittopedritto's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Marcon came free, but Bianco Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, Drittopedritto's Frank Cipollini made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adriano Scudieri was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69th minute Frank Cipollini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Scudieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Cipollini charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Cipollini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, Frank Cipollini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Narnali FC's zone, Ciro Monticelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Scudieri came out of the goal and Ciro Monticelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Narnali FC's Corrado Marcon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bianco Taurino. That made the score 2-2 after 74 minutes of play. In the 76th match minute, Narnali FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Zollino to maneuver through the defense. Dario Arpaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute Corrado Marcon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Taurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bianco Taurino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dario Arpaia went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Drittopedritto's Camillo Moschetta got a free kick in the 85th minute. Narnali FC's Dario Pellecchia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Drittopedritto. If Camillo Moschetta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Zollino kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Adriano Scudieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Monticelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Frank Cipollini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlo Zollino's late challenge caught a Drittopedritto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlo Zollino helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Narnali FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Carlo Zollino hit a great ball. Drittopedritto's Frank Carnevale couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 98th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Narnali FC. The Narnali FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Narnali FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
