The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antonello Pallini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrea Vianello in the 8th minute. A collision led to HELLAS CATANZARO F.C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Damiano Riccitelli hit a great ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind HELLAS CATANZARO F.C.'s goalkeeper Antonello Pallini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andrea Vianello struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Antonello Pallini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banda Reloaded Fc. In the 17th minute, Bogdan Nocny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano De Sisti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Petrosino, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 29 minutes, Emanuele Marongiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banda Reloaded Fc and the HELLAS CATANZARO F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Banda Reloaded Fc getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Emanuele Marongiu hit a great ball. Fedele Porreca kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 36 minutes of play, Banda Reloaded Fc's Andrea Vianello made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonello Pallini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bogdan Nocny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, HELLAS CATANZARO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Casiraghi came free, but Antonello Pallini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrea Vianello made a kick off. Andrea Vianello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonello Pallini having to interfere. Alfonso Casiraghi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Antonello Pallini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonello Pallini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Casiraghi in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Alfonso Casiraghi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Emanuele Marongiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonello Pallini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Vianello, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in HELLAS CATANZARO F.C.'s zone, Andrea Vianello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonello Pallini came out of the goal and Andrea Vianello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Casiraghi in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonello Pallini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antonello Pallini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Andreassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Attilio Andreassi struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Antonello Pallini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banda Reloaded Fc. Fedele Porreca kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. HELLAS CATANZARO F.C.'s Antonello Pallini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Negri in the 75th minute of play. Aurelio Negri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonello Pallini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Banda Reloaded Fc got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Hermes. Damiano Riccitelli hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Bogdan Nocny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfonso Casiraghi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonello Pallini having to interfere. In the 96th minute Andrea Vianello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonello Pallini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
