Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Achille Cellucci made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the match, Dario Carciofo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gussago's Edmondo Benvenuto. Edmondo Benvenuto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alex Biagetti hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Corrado Cavaliere hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Frank Di Berardino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gussago's Edmondo Benvenuto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Armando Larizza fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gussago's protests and gave Armando Larizza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, one of Gussago:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gussago. Frank Di Berardino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Gussago getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dennis Battisti hit a great ball. Frank Di Berardino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmondo Benvenuto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dario Carciofo's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes Junior DC got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Di Pasquale. Gussago's Corrado Guerini got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 39 played minutes, Junior DC's Fabrizio Fiori shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edmondo Benvenuto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Junior DC reached it. Edmondo Benvenuto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Di Berardino in the 40th minute of the match. Frank Di Berardino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Gussago defense, Dario Carciofo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmondo Benvenuto. The Gussago fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmondo Benvenuto should have stopped the shot. The Gussago players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Junior DC were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Frank Di Berardino made the kick off in the second half. Cesare Di Pasquale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmondo Benvenuto having to make a save. In the 58thth minute of the game Achille Cellucci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Junior DC's Augusto Castellani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dario Carciofo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Edmondo Benvenuto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmondo Benvenuto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Di Berardino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Gussago's Dennis Battisti got a free kick in the 69th minute. The supporters of Junior DC booed when Gussago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corrado Cavaliere didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Junior DC were awarded a corner. Dennis Benvenuto went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Dario Carciofo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Carciofo got free with Edmondo Benvenuto in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 0-4 became the score in the 81st minute when Frank Di Berardino elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
