Fabrizio Celli was a little too slow when Biagio Di Fazio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 47th minute, Aldo Ciaccia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fabrizio Celli, passed just outside the right post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Carlucci to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Costa's zone, Aldo Ciaccia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrizio Celli came out of the goal and Aldo Ciaccia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ettore Ciraci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Di Salvatore having to interfere. When Emanuele Placidi came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the BLACK TELLINA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuele Placidi couldn't finish the play. The BLACK TELLINA support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
