A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 12th minute, Ercole Masetti made a precise shot to the right of Anthony Marcantonio. Paltana FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Beppe Zola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of A.C. ToroRiver 2003 booed when Paltana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Zappacosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C. ToroRiver 2003's goalkeeper Amerigo Di Nino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anthony Marcantonio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arrigo Celli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anthony Marcantonio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when A.C. ToroRiver 2003's Ercole Masetti shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Donato Lorenzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amerigo Di Nino having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Cristiano Mastronardi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paltana FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C. ToroRiver 2003 the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Paltana FC's zone, Ercole Masetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthony Marcantonio came out of the goal and Ercole Masetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half A.C. ToroRiver 2003 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ercole Masetti made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Ercole Masetti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anthony Marcantonio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Enzo Tocci kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Lorenzi during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Paltana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Lorenzi to maneuver through the defense. Donato Lorenzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amerigo Di Nino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Donato Lorenzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Arrigo Celli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Marcantonio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arrigo Celli got free with Anthony Marcantonio in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute Dino Zappacosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Di Nino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amerigo Di Nino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donato Lorenzi went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 79 minutes into the game, Damiano Antonioni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.C. ToroRiver 2003's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paltana FC the free kick. In the 79th match minute, A.C. ToroRiver 2003 got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Celli. Ercole Masetti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arrigo Celli kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
