They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

But to his dismay, Arrigo Piccioli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 88 minutes into the match, Termo Della Spezia's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Piccini came free, but Ettore Genovesi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
