After a rather tough play, Solarolo's Biagio Sasso got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute Bruno Leoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos De Amicis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Leoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Amos De Amicis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Pazienza hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bianco Capasso in the 44th minute of play forced Solarolo's goalkeeper Amos De Amicis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ettore Genovesi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, Francesco Reali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Lemma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dino Campana in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ettore Genovesi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 minutes, Beppe Avesani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Termo Della Spezia and the Solarolo players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Dino Campana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Solarolo's Fabiano Di Mattia got a free kick in the 96th minute.
