Cristoforo Capuozzi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristoforo De Cesaris came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristoforo Capuozzi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 14th minute. A collision led to Asseggiano FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Bernardo Gismondi hit a great ball. If Anfilogino Piccoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Torri's goalkeeper Cristoforo De Cesaris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amerigo Colombo. After having played for 24 minutes, Amerigo Colombo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asseggiano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amerigo Colombo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cristoforo Capuozzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes Asseggiano FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Armellini. In the 33rdth minute of the game Anfilogino Piccoli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Asseggiano FC's Edmondo Urbani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Cristoforo Capuozzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torri's Cristoforo De Cesaris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amerigo Colombo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Cristoforo De Cesaris made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amerigo Colombo got free with Cristoforo De Cesaris in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristoforo Capuozzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cristoforo De Cesaris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriano Trotta kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Edmondo Urbani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Bevilacqua in the 45th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Cristoforo Capuozzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristoforo De Cesaris was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Amerigo Colombo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo De Cesaris having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Asseggiano FC's Cristoforo Capuozzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristoforo De Cesaris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Torri's Cristoforo De Cesaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Colombo in the 64th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Cristoforo Capuozzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo De Cesaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Florian Bevilacqua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torri's supporters rose to their feet, but Florian Bevilacqua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmondo Urbani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Alessio Antonioni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristoforo Capuozzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute Amerigo Colombo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo De Cesaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Amerigo Colombo came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Asseggiano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amerigo Colombo couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Cristoforo Capuozzi made a precise shot to the right of Cristoforo De Cesaris. Torri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When Asseggiano FC's Amerigo Colombo in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Torri's goalie prevented a goal. Alessio Antonioni hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
