In the 38th play minute Alfonso Bordon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dino Gianfrancesco. 2-0. Alfonso Bordon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Bordon to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Bordon might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dino Gianfrancesco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Bordon ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfonso Bordon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dino Gianfrancesco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. If Alfonso Bordon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Olgiate Olona AFC's Emiliano Leoni got a free kick in the 64th minute. Demetrio Crognale hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 69 played minutes Paolentus got a freekick which was hit by Dario Rulli. If Alfonso Bordon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Gianfrancesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Bordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alvise Miccio fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paolentus's protests and gave Alvise Miccio a yellow card for diving instead. Alvise Miccio kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Ernesto Cherubini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paolentus's Dino Gianfrancesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Bordon in the 86th minute of play.
