Eugenio Di Nino scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carmine Nardone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Roncopascolo FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ernesto Carnevale hit a great ball. After 24 minutes of play, Montechiarugolo's Carmine Primavera made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carmine Nardone was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Eugenio Di Nino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Montechiarugolo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Dario Chelodi, was totally fooled by Roncopascolo FC's Cristoforo Russo, who 32 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 36th minute of the match Alvise Petroni sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carmine Nardone skillfully saved the ball. Carmine Primavera might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carmine Nardone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmine Primavera ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Carmine Primavera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmine Nardone was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After 40 played minutes Roncopascolo FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristoforo Russo. In the 45th match minute, Roncopascolo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Puce to maneuver through the defense.

Carmine Primavera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Montechiarugolo's Eugenio Di Nino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carmine Nardone. Carmine Nardone yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. In the 69th minute Ernesto Carnevale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Chelodi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Chelodi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Carnevale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Tarulli hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Dario Chelodi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Carnevale in the 74th minute of play. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Carmine Primavera sped through Roncopascolo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carmine Nardone. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenio Di Nino in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carmine Nardone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carmine Primavera's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carmine Nardone firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 90th minute Eugenio Di Nino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Nardone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Disastro got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Roncopascolo FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ciro Disastro hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Montechiarugolo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
