Biagio De Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Sammartino in the 34th minute of the match. If Ernesto Sammartino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexander Casiraghi to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Ernesto Sammartino notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Dezerega's Biagio De Rossi. Biagio De Rossi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dezerega's Biagio De Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Di Prinzio in the 61st minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Alexander Casiraghi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tebano's Filippo Mazzola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Dezerega's Filippo Mazzola threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexander Casiraghi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A very nice done corner allowed Fabrizio Violento to score against Biagio De Rossi in Dezerega's goal. 2-0 after 97 minutes. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dezerega players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tebano.
