Biagio De Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio De Leonardis in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dezerega's Ennio Marcantonio got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Comunardo Tabacco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Marcantonio in the 27th minute of the match. If Flavio De Leonardis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Casiraghi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Villamontagna AFC's zone, Ennio Marcantonio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Comunardo Tabacco came out of the goal and Ennio Marcantonio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alexander Casiraghi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Biagio De Rossi managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Villamontagna AFC's Alexander Gianfrancesco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 48 minutes, Flavio De Leonardis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villamontagna AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio De Leonardis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexander Casiraghi was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Dezerega's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio De Leonardis came free, but Biagio De Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Comunardo Tabacco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Casiraghi in the 54th minute of play. After some careless play in the Dezerega defense, Flavio De Leonardis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Biagio De Rossi. The Dezerega fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Biagio De Rossi should have stopped the shot. Flavio De Leonardis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio De Rossi having to interfere. Biagio De Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Gianfrancesco in the 66th minute of the match. Flavio De Leonardis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio De Rossi having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Villamontagna AFC got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Berardo. Corrado Berardo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Dezerega's Amerigo Di Fabrizio got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Villamontagna AFC's zone, Alexander Casiraghi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Comunardo Tabacco came out of the goal and Alexander Casiraghi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dezerega's Biagio De Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio De Leonardis in the 96th minute of play.
