Franco Torri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Andrea Melani made a huge save. Anthony Palomba's late challenge caught a A.C. Torinese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthony Palomba helped the player get up and apologised. Andrea Melani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Torri, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Concetto Latini hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Ennio Pizzi hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Alfredo De Bettin came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the A.C. Torinese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo De Bettin couldn't finish the play. Torinese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Di Nunzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franco Torri kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Eugeniusz Piczak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Amos Mozzoni had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Florian Molinario charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florian Molinario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, Florian Molinario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, A.C. Torinese's Franco Torri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andrea Melani. Andrea Melani yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franco Torri to make the kick off. If Aurelio Salomone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Bianco kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Bernardo Di Nunzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Melani having to interfere. Fulvio Di Prinzio kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Alfredo De Bettin fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.C. Torinese's protests and gave Alfredo De Bettin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Alfredo De Bettin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 70 minutes, Eugeniusz Piczak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centocelle FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugeniusz Piczak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
