Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eugeniusz Piczak started the match with the kick off. Filippo De Matteis's late challenge caught a Centocelle FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filippo De Matteis helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Pinocchio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Filippo De Matteis. Centocelle FC's Andrea Melani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo De Matteis in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio Romino in the 11th minute of play forced Centocelle FC's goalkeeper Andrea Melani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenico Larizza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Andrea Melani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Pinocchio AFC's Alfredo Scafati made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrea Melani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Domenico Larizza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Andrea Melani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Filippo De Matteis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Melani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrea Melani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Franceschi in the 27th minute of play. When Filippo De Matteis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Enzo Di Giovanni made in the 62nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Domenico Larizza. Centocelle FC's Eugeniusz Piczak got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 69 played minutes Pinocchio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Fallito. Eugeniusz Piczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Piccinini having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Scafati in the 73rd minute of play forced Centocelle FC's goalkeeper Andrea Melani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrea Melani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Scafati in the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Centocelle FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Anthony Palomba hit a great ball. Camillo Fallito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andrea Melani. Centocelle FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 79 played minutes Centocelle FC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Antonangeli. Andrea Melani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Romino in the 81st minute of play. If Eugeniusz Piczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Eugeniusz Piczak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermanno Piccinini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugeniusz Piczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Pierucci in the 97th minute of play forced Centocelle FC's goalkeeper Andrea Melani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pinocchio AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
