The Passons FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Fulvio Cicchinelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Nobili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinando Marongiu in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulvio Cicchinelli saved Pavarolo from getting behind. Fulvio Cicchinelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Borrelli in the 31st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Ferdinando Marongiu put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Fulvio Cicchinelli. When Ferdinando Marongiu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 40 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fulvio Cicchinelli was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Augusto Borrelli struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Fulvio Cicchinelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Passons FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Mazzone made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Borrelli in the 51st minute of play forced Pavarolo's goalkeeper Fulvio Cicchinelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francesco Nobili got free with Fulvio Cicchinelli in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Augusto Borrelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulvio Cicchinelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 62nd minute, Eraldo Di Cristofaro made a precise shot to the right of Carter Mastrocola. Passons FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Fabrizio Mazzei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Mastrocola having to interfere.
