Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) F.C.Gladiator's Fabio Antico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Barberio in the 3rd minute of play. If Achille Puce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Linate's Angelo Mattioli got a free kick in the 15th minute. Dave Di Maio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Emiliano Fabrizi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alfredo Iannone charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Iannone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, F.C.Gladiator's Alfredo Iannone got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Ciccio Barberio came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Linate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciccio Barberio couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the game, Ciccio Barberio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fabio Antico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciccio Barberio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28th minute, Claudio Malatesta made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Antico. F.C.Gladiator's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 32nd minute Claudio Malatesta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Antico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Filippo Aversa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciccio Barberio in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Antico saved F.C.Gladiator from getting behind. Fabio Antico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Malatesta in the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ciccio Barberio made the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Fabrizi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Di Maio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dave Di Maio in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Fabrizi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo Liaci might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Fabrizi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Liaci ran back to his position shaking his head. When Achille Puce fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linate's protests and gave Achille Puce a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Achille Puce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th match minute, Linate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Serra to maneuver through the defense. Elia Brillante was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Angelo Liaci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Fabrizi having to interfere. Emiliano Fabrizi came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C.Gladiator's Dave Di Maio. But to his dismay, Dave Di Maio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Emiliano Fabrizi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Liaci in the 81st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciccio Barberio in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Antico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Linate's Aldo Serra got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Claudio Malatesta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 95 in the game by Claudio Malatesta from a close distance when the talented Fabio Antico managed to make a qualified save. F.C.Gladiator's players were relieved. Alberigo Nicolai's late challenge caught a Linate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberigo Nicolai helped the player get up and apologised. Alberigo Nicolai hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Linate had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
