The referee ignored Cast Anselmo FC's protests and gave Diego Maia a yellow card for diving instead. Diego Maia hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Damiano Nobili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Bernardini, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Fortunato Gentili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cast Anselmo FC's Camillo Ciraci in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Cast Anselmo FC booed when Tassina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Tenaglia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Camillo Ciraci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cast Anselmo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Camillo Ciraci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexander Bernardini to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Bernardini in the 62nd minute of play forced Cast Anselmo FC's goalkeeper Damiano Nobili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fortunato Gentili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fortunato Gentili in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damiano Nobili saved Cast Anselmo FC from getting behind. Fortunato Gentili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Damiano Nobili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Cast Anselmo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo La Marca to maneuver through the defense. When Claudio Punta fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cast Anselmo FC's protests and gave Claudio Punta a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tassina booed when Cast Anselmo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Punta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, Tassina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Tenaglia to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Cast Anselmo FC's Diego Maia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dino Iacovacci got free with Domenico Dorigatti in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd match minute, Tassina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Tenaglia to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Tassina's zone, Camillo Ciraci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domenico Dorigatti came out of the goal and Camillo Ciraci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cast Anselmo FC's Damiano Nobili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Bernardini in the 94th minute of play. Dino Iacovacci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenico Dorigatti having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
