Camillo Ciraci ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristiano Selvaggi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Iacovacci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Carmine Luongo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cast Anselmo FC's Damiano Nobili. Damiano Nobili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Cast Anselmo FC's zone, Alfredo Bellucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damiano Nobili came out of the goal and Alfredo Bellucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Cast Anselmo FC's goalkeeper Damiano Nobili had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmine Luongo. After 29 minutes, Dario Graziano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potenza Sport Club and the Cast Anselmo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dario Graziano hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Dino Iacovacci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cast Anselmo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Iacovacci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Selvaggi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Bellucci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damiano Nobili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Biagio Mazzocchi hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Camillo Ciraci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Selvaggi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Cristiano Selvaggi managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Cast Anselmo FC's Dino Iacovacci fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 82nd minute Carmine Luongo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Nobili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cast Anselmo FC's Camillo Ciraci in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Potenza Sport Club's goalie prevented a goal. Ciro Persia's late challenge caught a Cast Anselmo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damiano Nobili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Luongo in the 97th minute of the match. Potenza Sport Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cast Anselmo FC for a fine match.
