Biagio Genovesi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filippo Orsi went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to boss getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alex Stefano hit a great ball. Biagio Genovesi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippo Orsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in boss's zone, Felice Del Grosso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Genovesi came out of the goal and Felice Del Grosso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute Angelo Montanari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole De Sanctis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dave Cugini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Genovesi having to interfere. boss's Biagio Genovesi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Mandelli in the 33rd minute of play. Filippo Orsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Biagio Genovesi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Biagio Genovesi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felice Del Grosso in the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Fortunato Buonanno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Fenix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fortunato Buonanno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 39 minutes, Anthony Menna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the boss and the Fc Fenix players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes boss got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Menna. In the 44th minute Felice Del Grosso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Genovesi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felice Del Grosso might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Biagio Genovesi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felice Del Grosso ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Filippo Orsi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Biagio Genovesi. That made the score 0-3 in the 74 minute of play. If Felice Del Grosso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ercole De Sanctis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Montanari, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Biagio Genovesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Buonanno in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Felice Del Grosso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Biagio Genovesi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.
