Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Velate AFC's Edoardo Palomba started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Emanuele Penna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfonso Gentili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Arturo Petrosino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Petrosino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Gentili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Velate AFC's Antonio Ferreri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bianco Celli. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Gentili in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Petrosino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuele Penna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Petrosino having to interfere. Velate AFC were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Gladiators F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fedele Del Duca took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Fedele Del Duca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bianco Celli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th minute, Cristoforo Santini made a precise shot to the right of Arturo Petrosino. Velate AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Gentili in the 33rd minute of play forced Velate AFC's goalkeeper Arturo Petrosino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Gentili's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arturo Petrosino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Alfonso Gentili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Petrosino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bianco Celli made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Carter Coscia sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Gentili was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Emanuele Penna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gladiators F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuele Penna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Petrosino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alfonso Gentili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Edoardo Palomba came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Velate AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Palomba couldn't finish the play. After 61 played minutes Gladiators F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cristoforo Santini. Bianco Celli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter Coscia in the 62nd minute of the match. Velate AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alfonso Gentili 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. In the 75th minute, Cristoforo Santini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bianco Celli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carter Coscia went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Bianco Celli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carter Coscia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
