In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Romagnolo's goalkeeper Claudio Pensa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee ignored Romagnolo's protests and gave Antonello Giocondo a yellow card for diving instead. Antonello Giocondo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.
