Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) salento blacks wolves's Achille Strazzabosco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Achille Strazzabosco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Isolotto's Adriano Menichini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cesare Polito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adriano Menichini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Sacchi kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Fausto Gulli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesare Polito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Menichini in the 12th minute of play. Elia Garofoli made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Fausto Giuliani sent off a good shot on target. If Fausto Gulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Polito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Rotolo in the 32nd minute of the match. When Fausto Gulli came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Isolotto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Gulli couldn't finish the play. Achille Strazzabosco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fausto Giuliani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Isolotto's Elia Garofoli got control of the ball when Fausto Giuliani tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Isolotto were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 51 played minutes salento blacks wolves got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Ferrario. Fausto Gulli charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto Gulli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of salento blacks wolves booed when Isolotto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Gulli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Giuliani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Elia Garofoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achille Strazzabosco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Giuliani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Garofoli having to interfere. Cesare Polito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Gulli in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Fausto Gulli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Polito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isolotto's Elia Garofoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Giuliani in the 68th minute of play. Fausto Giuliani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Elia Garofoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Dave Rotolo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Achille Strazzabosco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elia Garofoli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fausto Giuliani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Elia Garofoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, salento blacks wolves's Achille Strazzabosco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elia Garofoli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Isolotto's Fausto Di Pietrantonio got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 80 minutes of play, salento blacks wolves's Achille Strazzabosco made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elia Garofoli was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, salento blacks wolves's Emilio Sacchi got a free kick in the 91st minute. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by salento blacks wolves's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felice Rossetti was slow to take the kick. During this time Isolotto's players had a chance to rest. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The salento blacks wolves fans cheered their team off the field, for while Isolotto had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
