Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amerigo Cinalli got the match started through his kick off. Emanuele Rondinelli kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Ciccio Caroselli made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Felice Rossetti sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Romitorio's Ciccio Caroselli got control of the ball when Adriano Menichini tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Isolotto's Fausto Gulli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ciccio Caroselli. Ciccio Caroselli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Romitorio's Amerigo Cinalli in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Isolotto's goalie prevented a goal. If Amerigo Cinalli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Gulli in the 29th minute of play forced Romitorio's goalkeeper Ciccio Caroselli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Ciccio Caroselli throw himself and got hold of the ball when Fausto Gulli in the 47thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fausto Gulli made a kick off. Isolotto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felice Rossetti in the 54th minute. The corner led Isolotto's Felice Rossetti to fire away a dangerous shot which Ciccio Caroselli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dave Rotolo might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciccio Caroselli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dave Rotolo ran back to his position shaking his head. Adriano Menichini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Coscarella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Isolotto's Elia Garofoli got control of the ball when Carmine Canzano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fausto Di Pietrantonio charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Adriano Menichini came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Isolotto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Menichini couldn't finish the play. Ciccio Caroselli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adriano Menichini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romitorio's Amerigo Torelli shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Elia Garofoli but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Isolotto's zone, Carmine Canzano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elia Garofoli came out of the goal and Carmine Canzano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Isolotto had won after a very even match.
