Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 4 minutes, Cristoforo Nardi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the See You and the Chievo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristoforo Nardi kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When Amerigo Gaudino fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored See You's protests and gave Amerigo Gaudino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Amerigo Gaudino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th match minute, See You was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo Topatigh to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Cristoforo Nardi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The See You fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Anthony Marcon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Beppe Antonangeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beppe Antonangeli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anthony Marcon's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 2-0 became the score in the 28th minute when Anthony Marcon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Alberigo Topatigh's late challenge caught a Chievo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberigo Topatigh helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chievo booed when See You was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Topatigh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beppe Antonangeli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Marcon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anthony Marcon got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 3-0 in the right cross in the 35th match minute before Beppe Antonangeli had time to react. Alberigo Topatigh got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 38 played minutes See You got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Topatigh. Cristoforo Nardi might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beppe Antonangeli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristoforo Nardi ran back to his position shaking his head. Federico Piattelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Beppe Antonangeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Guaita made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Cristoforo Nardi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fabiano Di Michele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beppe Antonangeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Piattelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Cristoforo Nardi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beppe Antonangeli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Amerigo Gaudino struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Beppe Antonangeli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for See You. Cristoforo Nardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Beppe Antonangeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Amerigo Gaudino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristoforo Nardi couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that See You were the better team. See You's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
