Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Davide Fiorentino got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Capo di Leuca's zone, Aurelio Lucente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristoforo Piola came out of the goal and Aurelio Lucente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dino Iacovella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Fiorentino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Aurelio Lucente notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Capo di Leuca's Cristoforo Piola. Cristoforo Piola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the match, Capo di Leuca's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Antonini came free, but Cristoforo Piola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Amos Armellini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristoforo Piola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amos Armellini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristoforo Piola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Lucente in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Capo di Leuca's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Armellini came free, but Cristoforo Piola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amos Armellini might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristoforo Piola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amos Armellini ran back to his position shaking his head. Davide Fiorentino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dino Iacovella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amos Armellini to strike the kick off in the second half. Dino Iacovella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Fiorentino, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With a little luck, Capo di Leuca's Cristoforo Piola got control of the ball when Aurelio Lucente tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurelio Lucente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Cristoforo Piola made a huge save. If Amos Armellini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 74 minutes, Amos Armellini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Floriano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amos Armellini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Davide Fiorentino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Capo di Leuca's Cristoforo Piola got control of the ball when Aurelio Lucente tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Capo di Leuca's Davide Fiorentino in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Floriano FC's goalie prevented a goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
