Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Miroslaw Rojewski made the kick off which started today's match. Emilio Scoca was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Castelnuovo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Certosino. Franco Maranzano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Davide Costantini. 0-1. In the 16th minute, Stefan Angelov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davide Costantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beppe Mammarella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Certosino defense, Stefan Angelov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filippo Bonfigli. The Certosino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filippo Bonfigli should have stopped the shot. Stefan Angelov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camillo Marchegiani took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Davide Costantini. Davide Costantini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After having played for 41 minutes, Federico Grasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castelnuovo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Grasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute, Beppe Mammarella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beppe Mammarella to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Certosino's Dennis Volponi got a free kick in the 57th minute. Federico Grasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filippo Bonfigli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Angelov, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Castelnuovo FC's Davide Contestabile got a free kick in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Stefan Angelov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filippo Bonfigli. Certosino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stefan Angelov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Salemme got free with Davide Costantini in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Camillo Marchegiani could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Davide Costantini however easily saved by the left post. 88 minutes into the game, Certosino's Armando Salemme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davide Costantini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Castelnuovo FC's Davide Costantini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Castelnuovo FC from getting a goal against them. Davide Costantini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camillo Marchegiani in the 94th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Castelnuovo FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
